Please read these terms carefully. By registering a player you accept them on that player's behalf.
1. Who we are
Arsenal FD Camps in Europe are operated by Soccer Atlantic ("we", "us", "the Organiser"), a company incorporated in the United States with its place of business at Jersey City, New Jersey, United States. You can reach us at contact@arsenaleucamps.com.
2. What you are agreeing to
When you tick the box at registration you are accepting this Participant Agreement, and with it:
- our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your data and your child's;
- our Refund Policy, which sets out when a registration can be cancelled and what you get back;
- our processing of the health information you give us about the player, so that staff can supervise them safely — see clause 7;
- our use of photographs and video of the player to promote Arsenal FD Camps — see clause 13.
Please read those two policies before you tick the box. They are short, and they are part of this agreement.
3. Who may register
Registrations must be completed by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over. By registering you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of every player named in the order, or that you have their written authority to register the player and to accept these terms on their behalf.
4. Registration and payment
A place is only confirmed once payment has been received in full. Places are limited and allocated on a first paid, first served basis.
Prices are shown in the currency of the country the camp takes place in — Swiss francs for camps in Switzerland, euro for camps in Luxembourg — and include all applicable taxes. The price you see is the price you pay. Your bank may add its own conversion charge if your account is in another currency; that charge is not ours.
Early Bird pricing is a limited time reduction from the standard price. It applies only while shown on the camp page and cannot be applied retrospectively. We may withdraw or change it at any time before your payment is completed.
Where an obvious pricing or description error appears on the site, we may cancel the affected registration and refund what you paid in full. We are not obliged to supply a camp at an incorrect price.
5. Information you give us must be accurate
You must provide accurate and complete information for each player, including date of birth and any medical condition, allergy, dietary requirement or medication. This information is used to keep your child safe.
We may refuse participation, without refund, where information given at registration is materially inaccurate or incomplete, or where a medical condition that was not disclosed means we cannot safely supervise the player.
6. Age and ability
Camps are open to the age range stated on each camp page. Players are grouped by age and ability at our discretion. We may move a player between groups where we consider it appropriate for their development or safety.
7. Health, fitness and medical care
By accepting this agreement you consent to us processing the health information you give us about the player — allergies, medical conditions, medication and dietary requirements — for the sole purpose of supervising them safely at the camp. Access is restricted to the coaching and medical staff responsible for that player, it is never used for marketing, and it is deleted after the camp unless an incident is recorded. Without that information we cannot accept the player, because we cannot supervise a condition we are not allowed to know about.
You confirm that each player is in good health and physically fit to take part in football training. Participation in sport carries an inherent risk of injury, including serious injury.
You authorise us to arrange emergency medical treatment for a player where we cannot reach you and, in our reasonable judgement, treatment is needed. You are responsible for any cost of that treatment.
Every player must be covered by health and personal accident insurance valid in the country where the camp takes place. We do not provide medical insurance for participants. Basic health insurance is compulsory for residents in Switzerland; if you are travelling from another country, check that your cover extends to sports injuries abroad.
8. Behaviour
Players are expected to behave respectfully towards coaches, staff, other players and facilities. We may exclude a player from all or part of a camp, without refund, for behaviour that is unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, or that repeatedly disrupts sessions. The same applies to parents, guardians and spectators.
9. Supervision
Our duty of care begins when a player is signed in at the start of a session and ends when the session finishes at the published time. We are not responsible for players before or after those times. Players must be collected promptly. Where a player is not collected and we cannot reach you or your nominated emergency contact, we will follow the child protection procedures that apply locally.
10. Changes and cancellation by us
We may change the venue, timings, coaching staff or programme of a camp where reasonably necessary, and will tell you as soon as we can.
A change of pitch or venue within the same town, a change of coaching staff, a change of daily timings of up to one hour, or a change to the published programme is not a significant change and does not entitle you to cancel or to a refund. Where we move a camp to different dates, or to a different town, you may instead take a credit or a full refund of what you paid for that camp.
If we cancel a camp entirely, you may choose a transfer to another camp or a full refund of the amount you paid for that camp. Our liability in that situation is limited to that refund: we are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you incurred.
11. Weather and events outside our control
Camps run in most weather. Sessions may be shortened, moved indoors or rescheduled for safety. No refund is due for a session shortened or rescheduled because of weather.
We are not liable for failure to deliver a camp caused by events outside our reasonable control, including extreme weather, natural disaster, epidemic, government restriction, facility closure, strike, or failure of transport or utilities.
12. Personal property
Players are responsible for their own belongings. We are not liable for loss of or damage to personal property brought to a camp.
Please do not bring valuables. Name all kit and equipment.
13. Photography and media
We may take photographs and video at our camps for coaching review and for promoting Arsenal FD Camps.
By accepting this agreement you consent to that use for the player you are registering, on our website, our social media channels and our printed material, without limit of time or territory and without payment.
You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to contact@arsenaleucamps.com. We will stop using new material of that player and remove existing material from channels we control as soon as we reasonably can. Material already printed or shared onward by others cannot always be recalled.
14. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with a registration is limited to the amount you paid for that registration, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of enjoyment, travel costs or accommodation costs.
15. Third party venues
Camps take place at third party facilities. While at a venue you and the player must follow that venue's rules. We are not responsible for the condition of facilities we do not own or operate.
16. Damage, and your responsibility
You are responsible for any loss or damage a player in your registration causes deliberately or recklessly to a venue, its equipment, or the property of others, and for any charge a venue passes on to us as a result.
Where a player has to be collected early for medical, behavioural or safeguarding reasons, you agree to collect them promptly. Any cost we reasonably incur because you do not is payable by you.
17. Late arrival and collection
Sessions start at the published time. We do not extend a session, make up missed time, or give any refund where a player arrives late or is collected early.
18. Media we produce
All photographs, video and coaching footage produced at our camps belong to us or to our licensors. Your consent at registration permits us to use material featuring your player; it does not transfer any right in that material to you, and it is not limited in time or territory.
19. Trade marks
Arsenal, the Arsenal crest and related marks are the property of Arsenal Football Club. They are used under licence. Nothing on this website transfers any right in them to you.
20. Governing law and where you can bring a claim
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States.
This does not take away protections you have as a consumer. If you live in the European Union or in Switzerland, you keep the benefit of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. We will bring any claim against you only in the courts of the country where you live.
21. Complaints and dispute resolution
Please write to us first: most things are settled in one email. If you live in the European Union and we cannot resolve it, you may refer the dispute to the consumer dispute body competent in your country. We are not obliged to use an alternative dispute resolution body and will tell you at the time whether we agree to take part.
22. Changes to these terms
The terms that apply to your registration are the ones published when you placed your order.
